- I fit the profile. But I abandoned the religion of my youth for a church that accepts everyone, doesn't pass the collection plate, and they encourage me to join in (not just sit and listen).

- Independent catholic, reformed catholic, national catholic, orthodox catholic..... all are viable alternatives to the Roman catholic church which seems to have amnesia about the original message of Christ.

- Walter Cronkite 'was' the news as I grew up. If he said it-it was true. It wasn't sensationalized. He was & is a role model for all newsmen
